Reports Roar Skipper Will Announce Retirement At The End Of This Season

According to the Courier-Mail, Brisbane Roar captain Matt McKay will announce his retirement from the club at the end of the current A-League season.

The Courier Mail also suggests the official announcement will be made on Thursday afternoon.

McKay made 59 appearances for the Socceroos and has made 300 appearances in all competitions for Brisbane Roar.

The 36-year-old midfielder McKay also captained Brisbane to the A-League premiership-championship double in 2011.
